Man Arrested For Being Intoxicated At Courthouse
Officers arrested a man Monday after he allegedly came to the courthouse while in an intoxicated state.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department were called upon to investigate a possible case of public intoxication at around 10:00 a.m. They report making contact with twenty-six year old John Scott Milewski.
Deputies report that Milewski exhibited signs of being intoxicated, including slurred speech and being unsteady on his feet. They report that when they asked him for his ID, Milweski was unable to remove it from his wallet because his hands were shaking so badly.
Milewski was escorted to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was arrested on the public intoxication charge and incarcerated.
